Testing is offered to women who are concerned they may be pregnant or their menses is late. A urine sample is collected and testing is done at the clinic. If the pregnancy test is positive, counseling is offered with referral to other agencies and services as indicated. If the pregnancy test is negative, options for obtaining birth control are offered.

Family Planning is a service of the Harford County Health Department. Staffing is provided by physicians, certified nurse practitioners, registered nurses and ancillary medical and clerical personnel.
