In accordance with House Bill 653, Harford County Health Department provides Hearing and Vision Screening services to all accredited non-public schools in Harford County.  The screenings required under HB653 are conducted the first year that a student enters a school system, enters the first grade, and enters the eighth or ninth grade.  Screenings are conducted in-house at the health department in late spring.  Parents are notified by their school to call the health department for an appointment (410-273-5626).
