When there is no attendant at a home delivery, the parents can contact the Harford County Health Department to have a home visit by a community health nurse. During this home visit, the community health nurse verifies the data presented and completes the Certificate of Live Birth. The completed Certificate of Live Birth is then forwarded to the Division of Vital Records. Further information is available by calling 410-838-1500.
