A program to help seniors age comfortably in their own homes!
The senior population is an important part of the Harford County community, and they deserve to be provided with care and comfort to lead healthy lives.
To help seniors age in place, this grant program will provide minor to moderate home modifications that promote aging in place, reduce fall risk and decrease the housing cost burden.
Eligibility
- Homeowner
- At Least 62 years of age
- Low-income
- Harford County resident
Home Modifications May Include:
- Temporary ramp
- Shower chairs
- Handheld shower head
- Raised toilet seat
- Risers for chairs & sofas
- Non-slip strips
