- Provides oversight and grant monitoring of all county—wide substance use initiatives, programs, and funding
- Oversees the distribution of Naloxone and provides training on the use of this life saving medication
- Works closely with Core Service Agency as the Local Behavioral Health Authority for Harford County
- Oversees grant—funded services provided through the Health Department Temporary Cash Assistance Program (works in conjunction with the Department of Social Services) and the Drug Court Program (works in conjunction with the district and circuit courts)
