The Harford County Health Department inspects and licenses all mobile home communities within the county based on compliance with the regulations set forth in COMAR 10.16.02:
- Water supply properly maintained
- Sewage disposal systems maintained
- Adequate park drainage
- Access roads in good repair
- Exterior lighting present and in good repair
- Fuel storage containers properly secured
Free of unsafe structures - Proper waste disposal and pest control
- Compliant with open burning regulations
Licensing requires a fee based on the number of lots in the community:
1-10 Lots $50
11-100 Lots $100
101 or More Lots $200
Please note that the Harford County Department of Inspections, Licensing, and Permits also conducts their own inspections and issues a separate license through their Building Services Division. Follow this link for more information about those separate county requirements.
