Lynda Boegner BSN, RN works with the Harford County Health Department Infectious Disease Program. As the STI/PrEP Program Nursing Supervisor, she coordinates STI/PrEP clinical services and provides STI/PrEP education to community partners.

During her time with the Health Department, Ms. Boegner has served on the HCHD Continuous Quality Improvement Committee. Her QI initiative entitled, “Promoting Increased Use of Morbidity Reports to Improve Chlamydia Monitoring” was highlighted in the Public Health Quality Improvement Exchange (2016 edition). Her article entitled “Harford County Swipes Right To Promote PrEP On Dating Apps” appeared in the PrEP Newsletter earlier this year. She received the HCHD recognition team award for her assistance with the Upstream Project and the Maryland Department of Health Employee Recognition Award for Exceptional Performance for her work with harm reduction promotion.

Prior to coming to the Health Department, Ms. Boegner worked as a school nurse in the Harford County Public School System, a clinical instructor for the Harford Community College Nursing Program, and an ICU nurse and nursing administrator at The R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.

In her spare time, she likes hiking, playing volleyball, and lounging on the beach with her husband and 8 children.​
