Alexis Erie is the PrEP & STI Health Educator at the Harford County Health Department. Alexis works within the community and the health department to expand knowledge on public health information and data, advocate for the community, provide on the spot counseling for STIs, and increase access to PrEP for individuals in the Harford County community.
Prior to taking on this role, she managed several health education accounts within a wellness company in Maryland. Alexis has been in the healthcare field since graduating from undergrad and has spent time focusing on public health education, sexual health education initiatives, community planning in underserved cities, public health research, and program planning throughout her graduate career. She expects to graduate with her Masters of Science in Community Health in May of 2019. Alexis is devoted to serving and educating Marylanders on harm reduction strategies and instilling confidence in individuals faced with public health concerns.
Alexis is a rollerskating dessert connoisseur who especially enjoys summer, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
